One of the wonderful things about knitting is that when you’re done with a piece - maybe you’ve outgrown it, you need a refresh, or it’s just not your style anymore - you can UNKNIT IT and use the yarn again in a new project! But we know that not EVERYBODY knits (a shame, but what can you do), so we’d like to offer to take that yarn off your hands and get it back into circulation. Most importantly, we’d like to keep it out of the landfill!

The Eat Your Fiber Upcycle Program works like this:

1. You bought a knit from Eat Your FIber and loved it for a season, a couple of years, a decade…you get the idea.

2. Now you’re doing a clear out, trying to keep your wardrobe fresh, no longer like that colour, etc. and you’re ready to let your Eat Your Fiber knit go.

3. Rather than putting it in the give-away pile, or worse, the trash (gasp!), we invite you to email us at shop@eatyourfiber.ca with current photos of the item and any relevant details about it’s condition, and we’ll get back to you with an offer to repurchase it if we feel we can resell the item or use the wool in another project!

Frankly, we’re not sure how well this program will work but we’re keen to give it a shot because reducing waste is a really important goal for us at Eat Your Fiber. Plus, we want you to know how much we stand behind our products and believe that they will last much longer than your average purchase in this modern world!
