Return policy.

DAMAGED PRODUCTS

Please do not accept any damaged packages. Please inspect the packaging upon receipt. If your purchase arrived with a visibly damaged box or packaging, it is advised that you refuse the shipment. If you decide to accept the merchandise that appears to be damaged, please indicate the condition next to your signature when accepting the delivery. Please notify the shipper of any damages immediately and be certain to retain all original packaging. Claims will require digital photos. Eat Your Fiber is unable to pursue a claim without refusal of the shipment due to damage, or without recording details of transit damage on the delivery receipt. Please follow the instructions below.

Please inspect the products upon receipt.

  1. Any visible damage to the packaging must be reported on the carrier's Bill of Lading.

  2. Report any damage to the actual product(s) with picture of both product and its packaging (including box and label) to shop@eatyourfiber.ca. Please include your order number in the subject of the email. Damages must be reported to Eat Your Fiber within 48 hours of delivery for any claim to be processed.

  3. Please keep all original packaging.

We will gladly replace defective items at no additional charge if notified of the problem within 14 days of receipt of the product(s) and the damaged items are returned to us for inspection prior to approval of the claim.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We hope you love everything you order, if you don’t, don’t worry!

Non-sale merchandise in new and unused condition may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the purchase price excluding shipping and handling costs. The customer must pay the cost of returned shipping unless the item arrives broken or defective. 

You must notify Eat Your Fiber before attempting a return - unsolicited returns will not be accepted. If you need to make a return or exchange, please contact us at shop@eatyourfiber.ca within 14 days of delivery of your purchase. Please explain whether you would like to exchange an item for another one (where available) or if you would prefer a refund. The refund does not include shipping costs - if applicable. It is limited to the purchase price of the item, including taxes. Please send your return within 10 days of receiving authorization of the return from Eat Your Fiber. Return shipping is not covered by Eat Your Fiber and must be paid by you.

Pack items carefully in a box suitable for shipping, with appropriate protective packaging if applicable. If items are returned damaged and the shipper does not approve a claim for such damage, no refund or exchange will be provided.

Consider insuring your package in case it is lost or damaged in transit. Eat Your Fiber cannot be responsible for items that do not reach us.

All gift returns are for credit only; no refunds are available.

Your refund will be processed the same way your purchase was made within 5 days of receiving and inspecting the returned merchandise. It may take several days for your refund to appear on your credit card.

No refunds or exchanges will be accepted on:

  • Special Orders, which are final sale (this includes any custom, made to order items).

  • All sale and clearance items are final.

  • Items not marked damaged to driver upon delivery of goods.

Eat Your Fiber will not accept any return:

  • without prior contact to Eat Your Fiber and authorization of the return

  • sent COD

  • if the item is not in its original condition and packaging

CANCELLED ORDERS

A customer may request cancellation of an order that has not yet been packed and shipped, however a cancelled order will incur a 5% hold back fee, as we incur transaction fees as soon as an order is placed, and we are not refunded these fees if an order is cancelled. Special Orders cannot be cancelled once supplies have been purchased by Eat Your Fiber to commence the work.
