Care Instructions

Each Eat Your Fiber knit is handmade with love from materials that are carefully chosen for qualities such as durability, hand feel, and environmental impact. In exchange for the amazing look and feel of these fabrics, some special care is required. If you want your knit to survive to clothe generations of children, or be eligble for the Eat Your Fiber Upcycle Program, please follow the instructions below!

Hand Wash

The Fava Bonnet is a hand wash only item, and NEVER put it in the dryer. To hand wash your knit, fill a clean sink or basin with lukewarm water and, using a wool detergent such as Soak, gently submerge and massage the item, then rinse (unless using a no rinse soap), and lay flat to dry in shape. Check out the video at eatyourfiber.ca or @eat.your.fiber for more details on hand washing.
