Ficelle Cardigan Knitting Pattern
Description
This spring/summer weight drop shoulder cardigan is worked from the bottom up in a worsted weight cotton. It is designed to be oversized with about 20 cm of ease. If you are in between sizes, choose to size up or down based on your ideal fit: for a more fitted look choose the smaller size, or for a more oversized look choose the larger size. The yellow sweater on the model is size small, and the cream a size medium.
It is worked seamlessly from the bottom up, then split for the sleeves. Shoulders are seamed using the 3-needle bind off. The neck and sleeves are picked up and knit off the body. The buttonholes are added once the cardigan is finished.
